Mark Moormann is a South Florida-based Cinematographer and Director with credits on documentaries, commercials, music videos and television shows. His documentaries include the Grammy-nominated TOM DOWD & THE LANGUAGE OF MUSIC, FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE (Audience Award-winner at the SXSW Film Festival), and THE RECORD MAN.

Moormann’s wide-ranging body of work with recording artists and music producers includes studio shoots with Aerosmith, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Michael Jackson and Andrea Bocelli; interviews with Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Les Paul, Ahmet Ertegun and Phil Ramone; and live performance shoots featuring Amy Winehouse’s premiere U.S. performance, the Bee Gees, Placido Domingo, Shinedown and Shakira.

His recent work includes cinematography for the documentary series THE YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY (Seasons 1 & 2), Condé Nast Entertainment’s Teen Vogue series STRICTLY BALLET, and commercial shoots for Home Depot, ESPN, Sandals Resorts and GQ.

Moormann continues to work-for-hire shooting documentaries, commercials, film projects and television programs.
